About us
A small Exeter team with a smooth finish
Based in Alphington and working across Exeter and East Devon since 2011.
Who we are
Plastered is a team of two plasterers and an apprentice. We do everything from patching a ceiling to re-plastering a whole house, plus rendering and lime work on older homes.
We are big enough to plaster a whole extension in a week, and small enough that the person who quotes your job is the person who turns up to do it.
Yes, the name is a joke. But the only thing we get plastered is your walls: no shortcuts, no mess left behind, and a straight answer about what really needs doing.
How we work
Fix the cause
If plaster has failed, we find out why (damp, movement, the wrong material) so the new finish lasts.
Right material for the wall
Gypsum for modern walls, lime for cob and stone. Using the wrong one is how damp starts.
Leave it tidy
Dust sheets down, the dust kept in the room, and a hoover round every evening.
Straight answers
A fixed written price, a clear date, and no pressure to book.
Qualifications and insurance
Clean as we go
Dust sheets down, floors protected, and the room hoovered before we leave.
12-month guarantee
If our plaster cracks or blows within a year, we come back and put it right.
Old homes welcome
Lime plaster for cob, stone and listed buildings, done the traditional way.
£2m public liability
Fully insured for work in homes, rentals and holiday lets.
Copies of our insurance certificate and qualifications are available on request.
