When the owners stripped the wallpaper in this Victorian terrace, half the plaster came off with it. What was left sounded hollow when tapped, a sure sign it had come away from the brick.
What we did
We took the old plaster off back to the brick, treated the bare walls, then applied a backing coat and a smooth finish coat. New metal beads on the window reveals and the chimney breast give straight, crisp corners.
The result
A room that looks like it was built yesterday, with a note for the owners on drying times before decorating.
